There has been an overwhelming response to the Slender Challenge launched at the beginning of May by Skin & Body Renewal with branches all over South Africa.  So the aesthetic and slimming company has decided to increase the number of competitors from 20 to 30.  

Founder and Cosmetic Doctor, Maureen Allem, says there is still time to enter as entries close only at the end of May.  “The only criteria are some unwanted kilos, a goal weight in mind and daily internet access for the challenge period.

Allem says fad diets are not the answer and there is no such thing as a miracle slimming drug.

“The latest research into weight loss has revealed that a low daily injected dose of a hCG, combined with a customised ultra-low calorie (500 – 600) diet, will result in the loss of abnormal, unhealthy fat, leaving the essential fat and muscle intact. The challenge will pit 30 contestants against each other to see who can lose the most kilos in 12 weeks. The winner will receive a 3-D Body Renewal Package from Skin & Body Renewal, valued at R25 000, which is designed to reduce more inches and sculpt the body.
