Avoid Running Your Diet At Your Office

|
It is very difficult to stick to your diet being at the office. There are the constant meetings, lunch meetings where an array of unhealthy snacks are available, and the canteen food is always beckoning. Here are some tips which could help you stay on track:
Keep a water bottle on your desk, in place of a glass. This will ensure that you will consume more water more often.
Take a packet of fruit to work each week. Keep it in you fridge and whenever you want a snack then a healthy option is available. Or if the fridge is not available, carry a fruit in your lunch bag to work every day.
Bring a nutritious snack to work. In a zip-lock bag put in sliced carrots, green peppers and celery sticks.
Keep protein bars in your draw.
Keep rice cakes in the draw and cottage cheese in the fridge.
Ensure you have a good quality lunch bag. One that is insulated or thermal. This will enable you to bring all the nutritious snacks to the office.
If you are compelled to eat at the meetings, ensure you only "graze". Meaning have small portions of everything served, and go for bigger portions of the vegetables. |
