Would it make mornings easier to bear if you knew you could get yourself looking gorgeous with only 10 minutes? Here's how...
Before Beauty asked for a quick way to make her eyes stand out and an idea that would take her hair from natural to elegant in just a few minutes.
Tool Kit
FaceDaleen evened out Beauty’s skin tone with two foundations, one shade apart from each other. To enliven the eyes, she drew a line in sea green along the lash line on the top and bottom lids. She finished with two layers of black mascara. An aubergine-tone blusher was blended onto the apples of the cheeks, then the same brush was swept across the eyelids to lift them, almost like a highlighter. On the lips, she used a sheer lipstick in a similar tone; the colour should be a tone or two darker than the natural skin colour.
Hair Hair should be oiled and conditioned so it’s pliable enough for this style. Johanni used the flat iron to curl the front section of Beauty’s hair, leading back to the crown. The curls were arranged to the desired height and the remaining hair rolled into a French twist and secured with slides at the back of the head. If your hair is slightly longer and you want to keep the height, Johanni recommends sneaking a pin in here and there. *Note: when straightening or styling ethnic hair, the flat iron should be really hot.
The Result!
This is the result of a 10-minute hair and beauty makeover.
